The Richmond Birdwing Butterfly is the largest sub-tropical butterfly in Australia, and is now a threatened species. Our aim is to help restore the population of this beautiful butterfly in our city by growing their favourite food, the Richmond Birdwing Butterfly Vine, throughout West Village.

Join us for a workshop where you can learn all about the Birdwing Butterfly and take home your very own vine to plant at home.

We will equip you with the knowledge and tools needed to successfully introduce this species into your home. The experts at our workshop will share their expertise on butterfly conservation, habitat protection and other best practices that can help save these gorgeous creatures from decline.

At the end of the session, you’ll walk away with useful tips on creating a welcoming environment for the Birdwing Butterfly Vine. Plus, you’ll have an amazing opportunity to get up close and personal with these wonderful insects!
