How to buy land with SHAWOOD.

Step 1

Once you’ve found the perfect location and orientation for your new home, our team will take a holding deposit of $2,500 as part of an exclusivity agreement. This secures the lot while the purchasing process is underway.

Step 2

We’ll prepare a contract of sale, which we’ll share electronically with your legal representative. You’ll have 14 days to review the contract with them, and clarify any points. When you’re ready to sign, you’ll need pay the balance of your deposit to Sekisui House (minus the $2,500 holding fee).

Step 3

After you’ve exchanged contracts, one of Cascadia’s dedicated customer care representatives will introduce themselves. They’ll be there to support, inform and update you through the land registration process.

Step 4

Once your land is registered, we’ll work with your bank and legal representative to transfer the title. After this, it’s over to you and your homebuilder, although you can always get in touch with your customer representative with any further questions or requests.
