STAGE 3 WILLOW, SANCTUARY'S MOST SECLUDED RELEASE, BEGINS CONSTRUCTION

Construction has commenced on the latest stage of Sekisui House Australia’s waterfront masterplanned community, Sanctuary, located in Wentworth Point. This $2 billion mixed-use masterplan project will reimagine the suburb from a previous industrial area into a dynamic waterside precinct.

Sekisui House Australia, a leader in innovation and sustainable housing, takes pride in its track record of successfully delivering approximately 2,100 meticulously crafted homes and constructing seven award-winning buildings in the community of Wentworth Point, contributing to the growth of the vibrant neighbourhood.

Sanctuary’s masterplan, designed by Turner Architects will span 9.4 hectares across six stages. The masterplan design also allows for future public transport links within its streetscape, including the $602.4 million megaproject - Parramatta Light Rail, the delivery of which will transform this destination suburb into a place that is connected and linked to all parts of Sydney, demonstrating Sanctuary’s vision to deliver a connected, vibrant lifestyle to its residents.

Nestled on the water’s edge of Wentworth Point, the latest stage of Sanctuary, Willow features 309 beautifully designed apartments. Willow’s architectural design elevates the natural surroundings, with most apartments having dual aspects overlooking both Newington Nature Reserve to the Parramatta River clear to the Blue Mountains.

The architecture of this latest stage is deeply inspired by the tranquil beauty of the locale, drawing from the sinuous contours of the Parramatta River, the rich hues of the adjacent parklands, and the delicate textures of the native flora. This design ethos seamlessly integrates nature into the heart of the development, forging a harmonious relationship between residents and the natural environment. Willow draws nature into the heart of the scheme and beautifully communicates a life that is one with and immersed in nature.

"More than ever, people see the appeal of living at one of Sydney’s last and largest absolute north-facing riverfront apartment addresses. It’s the final piece of the jigsaw in the reimagining of the Parramatta River at Sydney’s heart. Sanctuary also provides extensive public open space and a range of facilities, which is a major drawcard," adds Paul Wainwright, Senior Sales and Operations Manager, Apartment and Mixed-Use Developments at Sekisui House Australia.

Incorporating unique features that define Willow’s allure within the Sanctuary development, residents will enjoy the organic-shaped lagoon pool that serves as a tranquil retreat. These green spaces not only provide a lush backdrop for the residences but also embody the 'green heart' of the Sanctuary masterplan, emphasising a lifestyle that is seamlessly integrated with nature.

Sekisui House Australia is proud to ensure every home at Sanctuary meets the highest standards of quality and sustainability, underscored by our 4 Gold Star iCIRT rating. Awarded for integrity, capability, and financial stability, this accreditation from an independent, NSW Government-backed system assures our customers that they are investing in a home built to last, in a community designed for the future.
