Sekisui House achieves strong sales momentum at the Norman Estate’s Grand Opening.

The strength of the Sydney property market was evident over the weekend at Sekisui House’s Norman Estates Display Home Grand Opening in Gledswood Hills, Sydney. Over 75% per cent of available properties have now been sold at the Estate, with over 2,300 people attending the display homes over the two-day event.

In a highly anticipated Australian-first, the leading residential property developer partnered with renowned golfing legend and businessman Greg Norman to build the first Norman Estates residences in the country. The $300 million masterplanned development will include 190 freestanding and terrace homes, bringing Sekisui House’s premier and leading SHAWOOD home design, construction, and proprietary technology together with the global luxury lifestyle philosophy of Norman Estates.

To celebrate the launch of public sales Sekisui House hosted a Display Home Grand Opening event, revealing for the first time 13 newly designed Norman Estates Display Homes and the first street within the distinctive masterplan. Prospective buyers sampled the premium lifestyle proposition on offer with complimentary champagne, oysters, and paella, while children were able to enjoy face painting and entertainment.

The homes were in extremely high demand, with over 2,300 prospective buyers attending the weekend’s event and over 75% of the available properties in the estate sold. The event generated nearly 1,000 registrations of interest by prospective purchasers.

Craig D’Costa, Executive General Manager, Sekisui House Australia, said: “Welcoming the public into Norman Estates for the very first time over the weekend was a significant and exciting milestone. We received extremely positive feedback from customers and attendees, with over a quarter of referrals driven by family and friends. The results and buyer interest in the homes signal the strong demand for premium lifestyle properties in Southwest Sydney.”

Located just 45km from the Sydney CBD, the Gledswood Hills area is a growing lifestyle hub with prime housing market potential. All homes within Norman Estates include solar power with battery backup, smart home technology and premium finishes from state-of-the-art partners Fisher & Paykel, Miele, Legrand, Actron, LG, and Parisi.

Norman Estates also offers an unmatched lifestyle proposition, with exclusive access to resort-style amenities, including a resident lounge, tennis court and swimming pool due for completion later this year.

Construction at Norman Estate’s is well underway, with the first stage of residences now complete. Only a handful of completed homes remain available, with a selection of properties available off-the-plan and set to be delivered between 2022 and 2024.

“Our first residents of Norman Estates will move into their brand-new homes in the coming months, sparking the start of a vibrant community within the cosmopolitan destination of South West Sydney. Right at the doorstep of the Norman Estates community is a growing hub of lifestyle, education and transport amenities, with new facilities opening every month – an ideal location for families and young professionals.

“We are extremely pleased with the strong interest from buyers in the homes within Norman Estates since sales commenced in mid-2021. We’re looking forward to seeing the Estate come to life over the coming months,” added Mr D’Costa.

Prospective buyers are now able to view display homes by appointment, 10am to 4pm daily. For more information visit www.normanestates.com.au.
