Green Solutions Awards 2017
Sekisui House, Ltd. has won 2nd place worldwide in the Sustainable City Grand Prize at the Green Solutions Awards 2017, announced on November 15 at COP23 in Bonn, Germany.
Sekisui House was recognised for its achievements in Net Zero Energy Houses “Green First Zero” in our Smart Common City project in Akaishidai, Tomiya city, Japan. Sekisui House is the first Japanese company to win the prize.
"Green Solutions Awards 2017" is a global award system related to climate change measures, organized by Construction 21 with the assistance of the Global Alliance for Buildings and Construction. The awards consisted of three major categories, Construction, City, and Infrastructure, as well as 16 subcategories. Sekisui House entered the Sustainable City Grand Prize, one of four Grand Prizes. Sekisui House was highly evaluated among 12 projects worldwide, resulting in the prize.
