Melrose Park has added to its growing list of awards, winning three silver in the 2021 Sydney Design Awards.

The project received the silver in the DRIVENxDESIGN awards, in the following categories:

  • “Architecture – Multi-Residential (10+ Floors), Constructed” for the project’s first stage, ‘Óne Melrose’
  • “Architecture – Proposed – Multi Residence (10+ Floors)” for the third stage, ‘Pulse and Pavilion’
  • “Ädvertising – Outdoor, Retail and Point of Sale for ‘Melrose Park Village’

One Melrose has previously been recognised in the Sydney Design Awards. The Allen Jack + Cottier designed buildings won gold in the “Architecture, Proposed Large Site” category in 2019.

Allen Jack + Cottier, established in 1952, is considered Australia’s leading architectural company for community residential projects.

Boston Marketing Managing Director Rhys Morgan said the design awards recognised Melrose Park as a landmark project.

“The buildings are a striking design statement which delivers community living at its very best,’’ Mr Morgan said.

“We are receiving glowing feedback from owners and residents, with low rental vacancy rates in One Melrose and some existing purchasers looking to buy apartments in the latest stage ‘Melrose Park Village by Sekisui House’.’’

Residents moved into One Melrose last year, The Residences (Stage 2) is nearing completion, and the third stage ‘Pulse and Pavilion’ is under construction.

Melrose Park Village includes a small format supermarket, 4000 square metre private park and health and wellness facilities for the residents to enjoy.

“The advertising award is a well-deserved recognition for the team working on Melrose Park Village and reflects the design quality of Melrose Park,’’ Mr Morgan said.
