Melrose Park Hits Remarkable 900 Apartment Sales Figures
Urban renewal Melrose Park has hit another remarkable off-the-plan sales figure, with 900 apartments now sold across the first four stages.
The latest stage of the project, Melrose Park Village by Sekisui House, continues to set the pace in Sydney for apartment sales. Two hundred and sixty apartments have been sold in the stage which boasts a retail offering and wellness facilities.
Boston Marketing’s Rhys Morgan, who is selling the project on behalf of Sekisui House, said Melrose Park Village was attracting interest from both investors and people looking for a convenient lifestyle.
“For buyers looking to work from home more into the future, Melrose Park Village has it all, with business workspaces, wellness facilities and a large internal private park,’’ he said.
“There is a lot of strength in the apartment market, with many people, including first home buyers priced out of the housing market.
“Melrose Park Village offers an excellent alternative.’’
Melrose Park North is located in the heart of Sydney, just six kilometres east of Parramatta.
There are just a handful of apartments left in the first three stages of the project, with residents due to move in to the second stage, The Residences shortly.
The project was launched with the award-winning One Melrose during a downturn in the apartment property market in 2017.
The third stage, Pulse and Pavilion, is well under construction, and the 156 apartments are almost sold out.
The buyer feedback includes:
- Well-priced apartments with high quality fit-out and build.
- Good investment option, with major government projects underway.
- Excellent public transport connections.
- Highly experienced and trusted builders and developer.
Sekisui House Senior Development Manager Alex Grujovski said the project sales has exceeded all expectations.
“Nine hundred apartments sold is a remarkable result, with very few developers willing to put large projects on the market back in 2017,’’ said Mr Grujovski.
“While the prices for houses may cool in the coming months, we believe apartment prices in well-designed projects will continue to rise in 2022.
“Melrose Park North is an attractive option both as a place to live but also as a sound investment.
“This project really does epitomise the Sekisui House philosophy of building a well-designed and finished apartment but also a happy and healthy place to live.
“The large internal park really is a feature of the latest stage, and I am not surprised it is attracting strong sales from a wide range of buyers.”’
